Your Role
As aJunior Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll be a key part of our site teams, helping to embed a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning. You’ll work closely with experienced HSE professionals, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the delivery of best-in-class health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
* Be a visible and positive presence on site—leading by exampleevery day
* Support the implementation ofhealth, safety, and environmental plans
* Carry outsite inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement
* Assist inincident investigationsand help develop practical solutions
* Liaise withproject teams, subcontractors, and authoritiesto ensure compliance
* Stay up to date withlegislation and best practices, sharing knowledge with your team
* Deliver or supporttraining sessionsto promote awareness and engagement
* Attendstart-up meetingsand contribute to supply chain safety discussions
* Support the preparation ofhealth and safety reportsand documentation
Experience
What You Bring
* A genuine passion for health and safety and a desire to grow in the field
* A relevant qualification such as:
* NEBOSH Construction Certificateor equivalent
* NVQ Level 4 / EFQ Level 3in Occupational Health & Safety
* Awareness or training in:
* Temporary Works
* Incident Investigation
* Lifting operations (BS 7121 / IS361)
* CDM / PSDP / PSCS regulations
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
