We are seeking a skilled Legal Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintaining accurate financial records and handling client funds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including recording receipts, transfers, and interest.
* Handle client funds, including accounting for commission and other ancillary income.
* Maintain the office account, including managing client-to-office transfers and office balances.
* Work closely with the practice manager and secretaries to compile and cross-reference invoices against monies in and out.
* Handle payroll and HMRC requirements.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a legal bookkeeper is essential.
