Who should apply?
This position is ideal for a senior M&A professional with deep knowledge of the renewable energy market. You'll have experience leading transactions and working cross-functionally with technical, legal, and finance teams. Key requirements include:
* Financial qualification
* Irish M&A experience within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector
* Proven execution experience on both buy- and sell-side transactions
* Experience developing M&A strategy and identifying deal opportunities
* Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
* Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a proactive mindset
Role and Reporting Lines
This role reports to the Head of Corporate Development and will be a key commercial voice within the wider business. Responsibilities include:
* Deal Origination – Identifying strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities
* Market Intelligence – Leveraging industry contacts to track active players and opportunities
* Transaction Execution – Leading deals across wind, solar, and energy infrastructure
* Deal Structuring – Advising on valuation, structuring and financing of transactions
* Strategic Planning – Input into corporate growth strategy and portfolio planning
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Working with technical, legal, and operational teams
* Modelling Oversight – Overseeing financial model assumptions and outputs
* Team Development – Mentoring junior staff and supporting future team build-out
