Our clients include leading companies in the commercial, pharmaceutical, biotech, data centre and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing & Maintenance Operative to join our professional team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of roofing and cladding maintenance and testing tasks across various commercial and industrial properties. You will be part of a two-person team primarily focused on flat roofing projects, including testing and remediation work. The position is based in the Kilmovee area, with regular travel to various other sites as required. A typical workweek generally includes three days working away from home and two days on local assignments.
Key Responsibilities
· Consult with clients, understand their concerns, and provide expert, solution-focused advice.
· Conduct on-site testing, including electronic integrity testing, water testing, building diagnostics, thermal imaging surveys, and drone surveys.
· Undertake new build installation quality checks and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
· Ensure all activities adhere to Health and Safety
· Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of the project.
· Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
· Full clean driver's licence
· Experience in roofing / external building maintenance preferred but not essential.
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken
· Willingness to travel and work at off-site locations as necessary.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· High standards of workmanship and professionalism
· Computer skills are a bonus
