We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth running of our maintenance department in a new hotel opening in Dublin city. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and General Manager, leading the maintenance team to support the overall success of the department and ensure a consistently excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the maintenance team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in the hospitality sector.
* Excellent knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, with the ability to lead and develop the maintenance team.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and development skills to drive team performance.
* Effective budgeting and reporting skills, with a strong understanding of financial management.
* A practical and hands-on approach, with a willingness to work alongside the maintenance team on fixes and property improvements.
