Teamworx are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Accommodation Manager for a boutique 4 star property in North Dublin.
The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment with the bedrooms and luxurious suites almost complete.
The role
Work in conjunction with the Hotel Manager/Management Team in the day to day operations of the hotel.
Overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the accommodation department.
Manage and co-ordinate the housekeeping team to ensure that all bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned/maintained to the highest standard.
Manage and co-ordinate the housekeeping team to ensure the cleaning of all public areas within the hotel.
Work in conjunction with Front Office Manager and Reception Team to ensure that the overall guest experience and expectations are achieved.
Providing excellent customer care to our guests at all times.
Staff Training and development.
Management of a team of 10-12 people.
Stock/supply ordering.
Attending hotel meetings and complete action plans.
The ideal candidate
Previous experience as a Hotel Accommodation Manager/Supervisor is essential.
Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
Excellent attention to detail and communications skills.
Excellent people/customer care skills.
Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Must be available for early starts, weekends, and public holidays.
