Overview
Fast growing, leading Australian Foodservice Manufacturer. This is a casual Production Operator role on the Night Shift (10:00pm – 6:06am) based in Nerang, Gold Coast. The position is to commence as soon as possible, with long-term full-time potential for the right candidates. Remuneration includes appropriate shift allowances for the Foodservices industry and will be for 38 hours per week plus overtime if required.
About Edlyn Foods and Bone Roasters: Edlyn Foods is a long-standing Australian company supplying the Foodservice Industry with Beverage, Bakery, Dessert, Condiment and Culinary preparations. Bone Roasters, part of the group, produces premium stocks and stock reductions using real bones and high-quality ingredients, cooked in traditional open kettles.
Edlyn Foods is located across multiple facilities in Australia, including Nerang, Queensland.
Responsibilities
* Be a casual Production Operator on the Night Shift, joining the Bone Roasters business in QLD.
* Operate on a production line using Fillers, Cooking/Mixing Equipment, Pumps, Printers and Boilers. Training will be provided where needed.
* Follow relevant food safety and quality standards (Familiarity with HACCP and Food Standards Codes is an advantage).
* Maintain a focus on reliability and dependable attendance; work in a constantly changing environment and be physically capable of some heavy lifting.
* Understand basic food manufacturing principles and contribute to a safe, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
* Compliance with company policies, including Right to Disconnect and regular drug and alcohol screening as part of workplace requirements.
Qualifications
* Food processing/manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
* Previous experience on a production line or processing environment.
* Experience with production equipment (Fillers, Cooking/Mixing Equipment, Pumps, Printers, Boilers) is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
* Familiarity with HACCP and Food Standards Codes is an advantage.
* Strong attendance, reliability and work ethic.
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
* Self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic environment.
* Understanding of food manufacturing principles.
