About The Role
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing Account Management to clients across a number of contracts with regular travel between client sites.
Key Responsibilities of an Area Manager:
* Ensure contracts are operating to specification by conducting site visits, conducting regular Health and Safety audits
* Retention of all existing contracts, ensuring protection of our margin
* Identification of new business opportunities to include both hard and soft services
* Create and maintain a profitable service delivery model for all contracts to include integration of bundled services where possible
* Operational project management of all new business contracts awarded
* Assume financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Operations Manager on the Profit & Loss account to include wages, equipment, consumables, etc.
* Provide leadership, guidance and direction to site teams
* Performance management and development of site teams in conjunction with HR
* Ensure the business sector is fully compliant with Industry Standards, relevant employment legislation, JLC requirements, ISO and Company policies and procedures
* Prioritise health and safety at all levels
* Communication with the Operations Support team regarding rostering of contracts, ensuring overtime is kept to an absolute minimum
* Conduct training, conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
* Actively participate in Industry Awards
Essential Criteria of an Area Manager:
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills with extensive experience in client relationship management
* Excellent pc skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
* A valid Visa enabling you to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
* Fluent English, both written and spoken
Full Clean Driver's Licence (a company-branded car will be provided as part of this role)
