About the Role
With clinics in multiple locations across Ireland, awell-established educational and psychological services provider in Ireland is seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Psychologist to join their growing team. This role focuses on conducting high-quality assessments for Specific Learning Difficulties (SLDs), including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, for children aged 8 and above.
You will play a key role in identifying learning needs, supporting educational planning, and helping individuals reach their full potential through evidence-based recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct psychoeducational assessments for SLDs in children
* Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioural data to inform diagnosis and intervention
* Prepare comprehensive, accessible reports with tailored recommendations
* Liaise with families, schools, and allied professionals to support implementation
Requirements
* Recognised qualification in Educational Psychology
* Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
* Experience in administering and interpreting standardised assessments for SLDs
* Strong report-writing and communication skills
* A client-centred, empathetic approach to assessment and support
