About the Role
Creative IT is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Sales & Repair Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident with customers, and comfortable working in a fast-paced tech retail environment.
You will support the day-to-day running of the shop, assist with customer enquiries, manage repair intake, perform basic device testing, and help ensure smooth workflow between the shop floor and repair technicians.
This is a hands-on role where strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
* Greet and assist customers in-store
* Provide information on products and repair services
* Process sales and take payments
* Handle basic customer queries and escalate when needed
Repair Intake & Workflow
* Check in devices for repair
* Record customer details and issues accurately in the ticketing system
* Perform basic testing of devices (e.g., power-on checks, quick diagnostics)
* Organise repairs and coordinate with the technician team
* Update customers on repair status when required
Basic Technical Tasks
(Training provided – no advanced experience required)
* Carry out simple tasks such as screen protectors, basic accessories installation
* Light testing of repaired devices
* Cleaning and preparing devices for collection
Shop Operations
* Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well organised
* Restock shelves and maintain inventory presentation
* Assist with back-office tasks where required
* Follow company procedures and daily checklists
Ideal Candidate

* Professional, friendly, and confident sin ing with customers
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable learning new systems and processes
* Able to multitask in a busy environment
* Interested in technology (experience helpful but not essential)
Experience in retail, customer service, or technology is an advantage but not required — full training provided.
Working Hours
* 3 set days per week (to be confirmed based on business needs)
* Occasional additional days or hours during busy periods or staff cover
* Must be available for Thursday, Friday, Saturday
