A rapidly expanding investment and operations group is seeking a high-calibre Group Financial Controller to join its senior finance leadership team.
This is a broad, commercially focused role supporting a diverse portfolio spanning property, energy, hospitality and investment activities.
The position sits directly under the CFO and is suited to a high-performing accountant seeking a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead management reporting, consolidated accounts and financial analysis across multiple entities
Oversee statutory reporting, audits and financial governance
Manage tax compliance with support from advisors (CT, VAT, payroll taxes, capital allowances, etc.)
Support investment appraisals, due diligence, cashflow forecasting and financial modelling
Enhance finance systems, controls and processes (Dynamics 365 exposure beneficial)
Oversee treasury operations and banking relationships
Partner with commercial, property, energy and investment teams on financial matters
Manage and mentor a growing finance team
Ideal Candidate Profile
Big 4 trained, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with excellent academic background.
Strong technical accounting capability with some tax experience (corporation tax, VAT, capital allowances)
Experience in multi-entity environments or complex portfolios an advantage.
Commercial, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-moving, deal-driven business.
Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Confident managing competing priorities with high levels of autonomy.
