Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable main building contractor as a key member of the finance team. As a highly organized and detail-oriented professional, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate processing and maintenance of various ledgers, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Creditor/Debtor.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile creditor invoices and payments
* Allocate and reconcile debtor payments
* Reconcile supplier statements and respond to related queries
* Handle employee expense processing
* Bank transactions and reconciliations
* Assist with monthly close and audits
* Provide administrative support within the accounts department

Requirements:
This role requires a minimum of 23 years of experience in a similar position within Ireland, with proficiency in Sage 50 being essential. Construction industry experience is a plus but not required. Additionally, strong IT and Excel skills are necessary, along with numerical accuracy and analytical ability. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities. Strong communication skills and fluency in written/spoken English are also essential.
