Host Family Coordinator & Activity Leader
Location: County Tipperary, Ireland
Hours: Flexible, primarily 16:00–20:00 (Monday–Friday) + one Saturday per month

About the Role:
Lakeland Language Centre is looking for a motivated and reliable Host Family Coordinator & Activity Leader to join our growing team in County Tipperary. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the success of our student immersion programmes by recruiting high-quality host families, supporting international students, and organizing engaging cultural activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify, contact, and recruit new host families across the Tipperary area.
* Conduct home visits and assessments to ensure host family suitability and compliance with programme standards.
* Maintain regular communication with families and students to ensure student wellbeing and integration.
* Report on student progress and host family performance every two weeks.
* Handle any welfare or logistical issues that may arise during student stays.
* Organize and attend one monthly excursion (usually on a Saturday).
* Collaborate with the Lakeland Language Centre team to ensure the highest standards of student care and experience.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
* A caring and proactive attitude towards student welfare.
* Full driving licence and access to a car (essential).
* Previous experience in education, youth work, or coordination roles (desirable).
* Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.
