Temple Recruitment is looking for HGV Mechanics for one of our clients in Navan.
HGV MECHANIC
Duties and Responsibilities
Overhaul of transmission, axle and driveline products
Maintain, repair and service of HGV PSV & O/H Vehicles
Chassis diagnostics and repair both in house and off-site
Ability to work to OEM standard guide times
To adhere to correct working procedures
To complete all job related paperwork in line with company procedures
To participate in training and development programmes as required by the company
To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Role Requirements
Must have completed recognised Mechanical apprenticeship, post apprenticeship experience an advantage but not essential
Computer literate
Experience in electrics and computer based diagnostics work is very preferential
Full clean driving licence
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Strong attention to detail, ability to work without supervision, using your own initiative or within a team and ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
Reliable
Ability to travel to sites throughout the country including Northern Ireland
Previous experience on HGV, PSV & O/H chassis a distinct advantage
HGV/PSV licence an advantage
