Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a love for the English language through engaging lessons in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
The teacher will design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, support individual learning needs, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Beyond academics, the teacher will inspire students to develop strong communication skills and confidence in expressing themselves.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
Actively participate in internal staff sessions to share feedback and contribute to the continual improvement of the school’s curriculum.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, and conversational English effectively to students of varying abilities.
Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Differentiate lessons to cater to individual student learning needs (after school classes).
Foster a classroom culture of respect, curiosity, and collaboration.
Support school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment programs.
Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure student success.
Provide constructive and personalized feedback in the form of student feedback reports on a regular basis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.
Recognized teaching qualification/certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA).
Proven teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural school environment.
Fluency in English – reading, writing, speaking, and conversational.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles and abilities.
Ability to conduct teaching in the digital format.
Passionate about education and committed to student growth.
Bonus Qualifications (Added Advantage)
Native English speakers are preferred.
Experience with inquiry-based learning, student-centered pedagogy, or international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB).
