As we continue our ambitious growth journey, we are seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Ireland to drive sales success and strengthen customer relationships.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, technically skilled sales professional to join a fast-growing automation company. Based in Wexford, you will lead sales activities in Ireland, managing the full sales cycle from enquiry through to concept design, proposal, and deal closure.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will combine strong technical ability with commercial acumen to deliver bespoke automation solutions for high-value projects. This highly visible role offers significant scope for personal growth and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead sales activities across Ireland, managing enquiries and converting them into high-value projects.
* Develop 2D AutoCAD layouts and 3D renders (using SolidWorks, Blender, RoboDK or similar) to present bespoke solutions and full line concepts.
* Prepare accurate quotations, cost estimates, and proposals in collaboration with the CEO, Technical Director, Production Director, and Financial Controller.
* Identify market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities in Pharma, Food, and Life Sciences.
* Represent Tekpak at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, promoting our solutions and building brand presence.
* Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting, CRM updates, and catalogue data.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project delivery.
* Provide market and competitor feedback to leadership, contributing to product development and innovation.
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in packaging or automation sales.
* Proven track record selling into Pharma or Life Sciences sectors.
* Strong technical design capability with AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of SolidWorks 3D preferred.
* Experience creating 3D simulations/animations (Blender, RoboDK or equivalent).
* Familiarity with automation solutions and concept layout design.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Compensation
* Base Salary: €75,000
* Performance Bonus/Commission: €20,000
