Morgan McKinley is partnering with a growing organisation who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Senior Financial Accountant on a 12-month contract starting January ****.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, enjoy a challenge, take initiative and ideally have experience with - or exposure to the implementation of an ERP system.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately record and retrieve financial data, maintaining monthly financial records.
Process payments and manage cash handling.
Assist with Accounts Payable, including supplier account reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports.
Post month-end journals.
Assist with year-end preparation and procedures.
Analyse and review key Accounts Receivable accounts.
Reconcile bank accounts across multiple currencies.
Support VAT submissions.
Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system.
Ideal Candidate: Currently studying towards an accounting qualification.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
A collaborative team player.
Driven, motivated, and eager to take on new challenges.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
