Realtime Recruitment is currently representing a leading technology solutions provider seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for an immediate start to manage the full lifecycle of networking and security projects. This role requires a proactive professional who can serve as the primary technical contact for clients while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to high standards.
You must hold a Stamp 1g/Stamp 4 or Irish passport to be considered for this position. You must also hold a full clean drivers licence.
Role Overview
You will coordinate with internal network and security teams as well as third‑party vendors to plan, implement, and integrate complex technical solutions. Your work will include overseeing project schedules, budgets, resources, risk management, and client communications, while also helping refine internal project management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects end‑to‑end, from initial planning to deployment and post‑implementation support.
Build detailed project plans and collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, schedules, and resources.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while monitoring budgets and timelines.
Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and clients to ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruption.
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve agreed objectives on time and to quality expectations.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates, reports, and resolution of any issues.
Support early deployment and integration activities, contributing technical guidance where needed.
Spot potential business opportunities through active project engagement.
8+ years’ experience managing IT or telecommunications projects.
Strong understanding of IP infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) and networking technologies, including cloud networking, VPNs, wireless, Wi‑Fi, and data centres.
Proven track record delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Project, and Visio.
Willingness to travel across multiple sites in Dublin.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Experience with enterprise‑grade hardware, data centre installations, and Low‑Level Design documentation.
Experience managing third‑party vendors and working with Tier 1 network providers.
Familiarity with early deployment and integration processes.
