Senior Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity
This is a challenging role for an experienced Senior Engineer to lead and contribute to the development of a world-class manufacturing group. The ideal candidate will have expertise in process improvement, problem-solving, and technical leadership.
About the Role:
* Lead the development of a high-performing manufacturing team with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving using Six-Sigma tools.
* Monitor line performance and implement structured event plans to address systemic issues impacting efficiency.
* Develop and maintain supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions aligned with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Promote technical excellence through the company's Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).
* Provide guidance and support to Process Technicians and other Manufacturing Engineers.
* Contribute to new product and process introductions, ensuring compliance with the Stryker New Product Development Process.
* Verify process validation for products and processes, including VP, IQ, OQ, PQ, and associated documentation.
* Lead projects as assigned, encompassing scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification, and operational handover.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering (Level 8 Honours).
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven project management skills through delivery of business-critical projects.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
