The RoleWe're delighted to announce that Core Sponsorship is now hiring for a Media Sponsorship Manager. Responsibilities / Key Performance Indictors (KPIs): The role of the Media Sponsorship Manager assumes the responsibility of projectmanager for each media sponsorship they are assigned. The role will also involvemeeting and exceeding team revenue targets set in the business plan. The MediaSponsorship Manager will need to foster a strong a working relationship with ourcolleagues in the Media Practices and gain a thorough understanding of their client's keyobjectives. This role is central to the efficient and effective running of the day to daymedia sponsorship service and management. This includes the creation and tracking ofsponsorship critical paths, timely and accurate billing/spend projections, deliveringrelevant sponsorship opportunities to the highest standard, presenting response tobriefs and ideation. The media sponsorship manager will work closely with Investmentand the AV Team to ensure we are offering our clients best in market value andproviding insightful reporting to both clients and Media Teams.KPIs will include revenue targets, growing the Sponsorship Practice's reputationinternally and externally, and the media sponsorship service scores in the annualRADAR service review. AGENCY PERFORMANCE Project management of the media sponsorship process, working closely with Media Teamcolleagues, Investment, Channel Planning and other integral teams to ensure SponsorshipPractice output is of the highest standard Management of media sponsorship projects from start to end (dealingwith client queries, negotiating with media owners, coordinatingreports, monitoring, presenting results) Creating strong relationships with media owners, gain a deep understandingof their properties and how to tailor opportunities for Core clients Analyse and understand reports. Use the data generated to provideinsights and identify clear actions to be taken Liaising with the client and creative agency for delivery of sponsorship creative assetsDevelop an understanding of each Practice and integral team within Core and what itcontributes to the overall plan Validate sponsorship campaign delivery and performance and create post campaignreviews for clients Responsibility in making sure a campaign goes liveHelping sponsorship presentationsCoordinating media owner briefs and deliveryCOMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE Collection of client POs and manage the internal communication of POs acrossteams ensuring effective and efficient month end billing for all media sponsorshipactivity Overall responsibility for billing at the end of each monthManage media sponsorship budgets, forecasting and aged debtEnsure all billing is 100% accurate and on time for all media sponsorshipsTALENT MANAGEMENT Deepening understanding of media by committing to the internal training CoreLearning programme(s) and regularly attend training for your development Developing understanding of client business, their Key Business Priorities for theyear and play a role in creating media sponsorship strategies to deliver againstthem ensure close collaboration with Media Sponsorship and Media Teams to ensure thatthey are enabled to actively assist your development and to ensure the consistentdelivery of the highest standard of agency output ensure a strong comprehension and commitment to your career development planin line with your 360 appraisal, quarterly catch up's and goals upholds the Core values in words and actionsembracing our value of Togetherness through cross company collaborationproactively build relationships within the wider companycontributes to a hardworking and fun team environmentYour profileExperience Up to 2 years media experience with proven track record. Knowledge of thedigital disciplines would be beneficial but not essential Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPointExperience in managing large scale, complex media campaigns is essentialPrevious experience with relevant marketing toolsPerson Specification Be a confident communicatorExcellent interpersonal skills – ability to build strong relationships with clientsDisplay the ability to think creatively and innovativelyVery knowledgeable on all mediaPossess good presentation skills – assist in presenting insights to clientsGood listener - ability to understand client's objectivesExceptional attention to detailUnderstands the importance of upskillingCan think on their feet to make the right decision quicklyBe responsive to requestsWhy us?Flexible and hybrid working, within the Republic of Ireland.
