About This Role:
As a Senior Agent in our Call Centre Sales team at eir, you'll play a key role in driving performance, leading by example, and supporting your team's development. You'll balance time on the phone delivering best-in-class service with hands-on coaching and mentoring responsibilities. This position is ideal for a current agent looking to step into a leadership-focused role with increased responsibility, visibility, and growth opportunities.
You'll spend approximately 70% of your time actively on calls, consistently showcasing excellence in sales and customer service, and 30% supporting your peers and Team Manager to strengthen team performance and operational success.

This is an onsite role, with potential for hybrid working as part of our Agile working policy, once probation is successfully completed.

Expectations From The Role:
As a Senior Agent, your responsibilities will include:
* Outbound Sales: Make outbound calls to new and existing customers, driving sales performance and leading by example.
* Customer Engagement: Build trust with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions through open, interactive conversations.
* Coaching & Support: Spend time coaching agents to improve sales quality, retention, and team output.
* Escalation Support: Handle escalated queries professionally and promptly.
* Operational Contribution: Support your Team Manager in identifying process gaps and implementing positive change.
* Role Model: Embody eir values and policies, demonstrating professionalism, quality, and excellence at every touchpoint.
* Quality Standards: Work closely with the quality team and stakeholders to implement and uphold quality standards across campaigns.

Qualifications
* Previous management experience is essential.
* Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a contact centre, retail, online, door-to-door, or outbound sales environment.
* Strong track record in achieving sales and retention targets.
* Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
