Safetynet Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Administrator to join our values-driven team, delivering essential healthcare to marginalised and socially excluded communities in Dublin.

We offer GP and nurse care in open-access clinics, as well as outreach to homeless people, migrants, refugees, and international protection applicants.

The Role
As Medical Administrator, you will:
Support GP and nurse clinics in Dublin 1, with occasional duties in Dublin 2 and 7.
Manage appointments, patient queries, and clinic administration.
Monitor and action emails and calls, ensuring excellent customer service.
Maintain digital and paper filing systems, update clinic spreadsheets, and report activity.
Collaborate with a small admin team, nurses, GPs, and partner organisations.
Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in line with GDPR and Safetynet policies.
Assist with general admin duties (scanning, printing, posting, and records transfer).
Participate in meetings, team projects, and the training of new staff.
About You
You are:
Experienced: 2+ years in medical admin or 3+ years in general admin.
Skilled: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Detail-oriented: Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
Professional: Discreet, empathetic, and committed to high standards.
Desirable: Experience with Practice Management Software and a full clean driving licence.
Additional Information
35 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
Permanent contract (subject to funding) with a 6-month probationary period.
Garda Vetting required.
