SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Partnerships & Alliances – Life Sciences is responsible for developing and executing the strategic ecosystem partnership roadmap to accelerate Astrix's growth across the life sciences and healthcare data landscape. This role will lead strategic alliances with major technology and platform partners such as Snowflake, Databricks, Boomi, and Veeva, as well as system integrators, consulting partners, and key lab/clinical/regulatory informatics software vendors.
This executive will shape go-to-market (GTM) strategies, drive joint solution development, and foster deep, long-term collaborations that expand Astrix's market reach and solution capabilities in AI/ML, data integration, analytics, digital transformation, and regulated cloud environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Strategic Partnership Leadership
* Lead the creation and execution of a partnership strategy aligned with Astrix's business priorities in life sciences, R&D, manufacturing, and commercial operations.
* Cultivate and manage executive relationships with key alliance partners including Snowflake, Databricks, Boomi, and Veeva Systems.
* Identify, negotiate, and formalize new alliance and channel opportunities that expand Astrix's solution and data ecosystem footprint.
* Go-To-Market Enablement
* Develop and launch joint go-to-market programs with technology partners to drive pipeline creation, customer adoption, and revenue growth.
* Partner with Astrix leadership in Digital Strategy, Application Consulting, Marketing, and Sales with the partner to design co-branded offerings, reference architectures, and solution accelerators that integrate partner technologies.
* Lead strategic co-selling and channel enablement efforts, ensuring internal and partner sales teams are trained and aligned on value propositions.
* Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
* Represent Astrix at life sciences industry events, partner forums, and joint marketing initiatives.
* Leverage deep knowledge of the life sciences ecosystem (clinical, regulatory, research, development, CMC, quality, and manufacturing) to shape partnership narratives and co-innovation initiatives.
* Operational & Financial Management
* Define partnership KPIs, success metrics, and reporting cadence to ensure measurable business outcomes.
* Manage alliance budgets, joint business plans, and executive QBRs.
* Collaborate with Legal and Finance on partnership agreements and compliance frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in partnership management, strategic alliances, or business development within the
life sciences technology
sector.
* Proven success in building strategic partnerships and co-selling relationships with
Snowflake
,
Databricks
,
Boomi
,
Veeva,
or similar companies.
* Demonstrated success in managing alliance ecosystems that drive revenue growth related to data analytics adoption and digital transformation in the life science industry.
