We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused
Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist
to deliver an exceptional first experience for new employees
Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00
Location: Loughrea, Co Galway
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Drive the recruitment for the business in conjunction with the Recruitment Officer
* Oversee the agency use for recruitment and labour cover -strategies on the reduction of such with the HR and Operations Team
* Review processes in recruitment and onboarding and suggest improvements
* Coordinate and execute the full onboarding lifecycle
* Serve as a primary point of contact for new hirers, providing timely communication and support.
* Collaborate with hiring managers and other department to ensuring all recruitment and onboarding tasks are completed efficiently.
* Facilitate orientation sessions covering company culture, values, policies, benefits, and systems.
* Liaise with Payroll and HR to ensure compliance with policies and procedure plus employment legislation.
* Manage compliance requirements such as background checks, documentation verification, and training completions.
* Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate records for all new hires.
* Gather feedback from new employees to identify and implement improvements in the onboarding process.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in onboarding or similar experience such as HR coordination, and/or talent acquisition.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
