Job opportunity for Business Development Manager based in Cork for one of Ireland’s leading domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing & heating specialists. This is a central role in the growth of business in Munster area by maintaining existing customers and supporting winning of new business by promoting range of products and services to the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience in developing new customers and providing customer solutions to meet their needs
• Update CRM system for projects.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing, advising and delivering on their requirements
• A proven track record in developing and selling technical solutions
• Processing and tracking orders and maintaining close communication with customers from order date to delivery of goods and after sales support if required.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customer base if required.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of the commercial HVAC industry
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
• The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
• Must be extremely customer focused with excellent people management and communication skills.
• Proven organisational skills and planning ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and forecasts to a professional standard.
• Ability to prepare and lead meetings with internal and external customers
• Able to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and take corrective action where appropriate.
