Arcadis DPS Engineering are a seeking a Project Engineer (Intermediate) and Project Manager (Senior) to join our multidiscipline project engineering team delivering projects for LM/SM & Utilities at a pharma company based in Kinsale. This is initially a 12-month contract.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of EPCV projects in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector, from concept through to handover, including all project phases.
Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver projects from concept through to handover, ensuring all phases are completed to specification, schedule, and budget.
* Support and co-ordinate Engineering Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification activities on a range of EPCV projects.
* Generate and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, and budgets.
* Interface with users, clients, and multidiscipline engineering teams to ensure requirements are met.
* Lead or attend regular project co-ordination meetings and provide effective project communication.
* Prepare and review project controls data (schedules, budgets, resourcing plans, and man-hour forecasts) to support decision-making and take corrective actions as required.
* Identify the need for specialist services and coordinate with relevant groups within the project team.
* Work independently and proactively within a fast-paced, GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (discipline depends on the specific role).
* Relevant design and project delivery experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical sector:
-Intermediate (Project Engineer): Significant engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical sector.
-Senior (Project Manager/Engineer): Extensive engineering experience, ideally 15 years overall, with at least 5 years in the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical sector.
* Previous experience delivering medium-value projects (€1–2M) in a GMP environment, or managing multidisciplinary teams and project controls.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface with users, clients, and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and adapt to a dynamic, site-based project environment.
