They have an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager for large scale residential developments based in Cahir, Tipperary.
This is a permanent staff role with a strong work order book.
Report to project management team and provide weekly/monthly updates on programme and subcontractors progress.
Manage site staff and all contractors coming on to your project and currently on your Project.
As the Site Manager you will work closely and report to your Project Manager, Contracts Manager/Director to ensure business objectives and project strategies are met and exceeded.
Take responsibility for managing day to day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, assist Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.
Ensure that appropriate SHEQ personnel are copied in all subcontractors' appointments and when starting on site.
Establish Construction Programmes for projects with you respective Project Manager.
Check and understand all drawings and specification.
Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
Ensure RFI's and Technical Submittals are issued to the Design Team and that all registers are kept up to date Establish project resource requirements and lead \ motivate the project team.
Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials and recording of same.
Commercially minded and ability to work with the project team including the QS to manage the project and meet the company objectives for each project.
Co-ordinate and liaise with your Project Manager, Site Engineers and services Co-ordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have always timely and accurate information.
Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practise.
Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
Complete and issue daily progress reports.
