Senior Manager of Distribution and Supply Chain Planning
Location: Dublin/Swords, Ireland.
This Senior Manager will lead and collaborate with HQ and zone supply chain organizations for inventory and supply optimization within the Core Lab Solution (CLS) SCM global supply planning team.
The role focuses on strategic initiatives across global inventory optimization and country replenishment process improvement, ensuring timely, cost-effective product delivery worldwide while enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Optimization: Develop and execute strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize excess and shortages, and ensure product availability across primary DCs and country depots.
Net Requirements Planning: Utilize DRP systems to align on supply needs, analyze inventory trends, and plan material replenishment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HQ Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Zone Planning teams to align stocking strategies and resolve operational issues.
Performance Monitoring and issue resolution: Track and manage KPIs related to replenishment order accuracy, inventory turnover, and backorder reduction in collaboration with country planning team and digital supply chain.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven expertise in supply planning tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
Deep understanding of supply chain management, especially inventory management and replenishment principles.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics and/or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years of experience managing complex medical device or related industry supply chain in a global environment.
Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects.
Advanced knowledge of planning systems and processes (SAP, Kinaxis).
Experience in a structured business process (e.g. SIOP, S&OP, IBP) strongly preferred.
