Ergo are seeking an IT QA Manager for an initial 6 month contract with a semi-state client.
You will be responsible for developing and testing a new online system and will ideally have some experience with MS Dynamics .
Candidates must have 5 years in a Test Management role and relevant professional certification in Testing (e.g. ISTQB ).
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin.
What will you do?
* Develop, own and manage the IT Quality Assurance & User Test Plan - including scope; approach; entry / exit criteria across all phases; RACI; risks etc
* Develop the IT Quality Assurance strategy and approach, based on industry best practice
* Develop detailed IT User test plans for the business services impacted by the Programme
* Work closely with the Business Lead; Technical Lead; Business Analyst and Subject Matter Experts to understand the requirements and desired outcomes of the different services / processes
* Define, monitor and report on the measurement approach, key performance indicators and appropriate tools to monitor throughout the course of the Programme
* Present and reporting on improvements, developments and results on frequent basis
* Build, lead and mentor a team in test planning, test execution e.g. UAT and test tools e.g. bug tracker
* Lead the testing workshops / presentations to stakeholders and senior management Development, delivery and presentation of status reports to stakeholders and senior Management
You should have the following experience:
* 5+ years' experience as a Test Manager
* Experience of at least two full testing lifecycles, from defining the testing strategy and plans, through to the management of the delivery plans and evaluation of the testing,
* Previous experience of using structured methodologies and tools sets for MS dynamics e.g. Dev ops and similar implementations is preferable.
* Appropriate qualifications reflective of required subject matter expertise,
* Familiar with using structured methodologies,
* Ability to plan and anticipate potential problems with a level of comfort around changing requirements.
