Executive Search: Navigating Leadership Appointments across Fintech, Aviation & Corporate Finance
Steering Point is delighted to represent an ambitious advisory firm who are currently seeking to hire a Corporate Finance Director to work closely with the CEO on both internal and external Corporate Finance transactions.
Role:
* Lead transaction support for Irish SME’s preparing for sale, succession or investment
* Advise clients on deal structure, prepare valuations and complete due diligence
* Manage both buy-side and sell-side mandates, including private equity deals and cross-border transactions
* Support clients through the planning, negotiation and legal stages of M&A and exit processes
* Build financial models, board packs and investor materials to support fundraising and strategic decision-making
* Identify and assess strategic opportunities across the client base
* Preparation of valuations and due diligence to support recommendations
* Preparation of offer / pitch documents and lead contract negotiations
* Play a key role in the achievement of the internal M&A team’s ambitious growth plans for the firm
* Work closely with the CEO and senior partnership team at all stages of the above
Reporting line: CEO
Person:
* A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, with experience of working with SME clients
* Proven experience of leading client faced interactions
* Proven experience of origination capabilities
* Comfortable developing and delivering solutions to a wide range of structuring issues
* Well-honed interpersonal, communication and numeric skills
* Driven, energetic personality with the ability to persuade and manage internal and external stakeholders comfortably
