We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our vibrant and nurturing early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Lead and support a team of Early Years Educators in providing a stimulating, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged [insert age range].
 * Plan, implement and evaluate a curriculum based on the principles of Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework and guided by Síolta: the National Quality Framework.
 * Ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safety are maintained at all times.
 * Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.
 * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with Tusla Early Years Inspectorate regulations and the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016.
 * Support the ongoing professional development of your team.
Requirements:
 * A minimum of Level 6 QQI/FETAC qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level 7 or 8 preferred).
 * At least 1 years' experience in an early years setting, with previous leadership experience desirable.
 * Strong knowledge and practical experience of Aistear and Síolta.
 * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
 * A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to child-led, play-based learning.
