This position is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and functionality of our hotel premises.
Daily/operation meetings are essential to stay informed and take necessary action to rectify maintenance issues promptly.
Maintenance tasks will be carried out on a daily basis to ensure the hotel's facilities remain in good working order.
Communication with outside contractors will be crucial to resolve any maintenance-related concerns efficiently.
A well-planned prevention maintenance system will be implemented for all key equipment to minimize downtime and costs associated with repairs.
Regular monitoring and control of energy consumption and other expenses will be required to optimize resources effectively.
Hotel inspections will be conducted regularly to identify potential maintenance requirements, ensuring proactive measures are taken to address these issues.
Maintenance contracts will need to be up to date, and servicing of equipment will be scheduled as per the agreed contract terms.
Awareness of potential risks and hazards will be essential to ensure guest safety at all times.
Weekly fire detection system, fire doors, emergency lighting, and bell tests will be checked and recorded accordingly.
Compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations will be mandatory.
Departmental training will be planned and implemented to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Key Requirements:
At least one year's experience at Maintenance Assistant level is required.
Trade qualifications or relevant experience (e.g., electrical/plumbing) would be highly advantageous.
High attention to detail and focus on quality standards are essential.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively is critical.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
