Job Summary
We have a vacancy for a qualified electrician to join our team based across the Munster area. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining intelligent traffic system equipment, as well as providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Completing planned maintenance activities and routine electrical testing on ITS equipment
2. Liaising with service delivery manager and customer to discuss problems or issues
3. Maintaining accurate fault records and responding to fault reports within agreed service level agreements
You will also ensure adherence to quality and health/safety requirements, and care for company vehicles, tools, spares, and equipment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate/National Craft Certificate (Electrical)/Cisco Networking (CCNA) qualification, or equivalent electrical engineering qualification
* Practical experience in electrical engineering, controls, networking, and instrumentation as a communications technician or similar
* Familiarity with fibre optic networks and Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
