My client based in Dublin City Centre are seeking a Settlements Analyst to support the day-to-day processing and oversight of securities and derivatives transactions within a busy operations environment.This is a daily rate contract for 5 monthsThis is a great opportunity for someone with operations or settlements experience looking to step into a broader role with exposure to trade support, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination within a global banking environment.The successful candidate will work closely with trading desks, internal operations teams, and control functions to ensure transactions are processed accurately and within regulatory and operational guidelines.ResponsibilitiesSupport the processing and settlement of securities and derivatives transactions.Investigate and resolve trade and settlement issues, escalating where required.Monitor operational workflows and assist in identifying process improvements.Produce reports and assist with data analysis relating to operational activity and risk.Support trade flow and operational change initiatives.Work closely with internal stakeholders including operations, trading, and risk teams.Assist with maintaining procedures, controls, and operational documentation.Help ensure adherence to audit, compliance, and control policies.Provide guidance and support to newer team members where required.Participate in daily operational oversight and issue management activities.Required ExperiencePrevious experience within financial services operations, settlements, trade support, middle office, or back-office environments.Exposure to securities, derivatives, cash equities, fixed income, or related products is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working with data, reporting, and operational processes.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.Experience working within regulated or controlled environments is advantageous.Knowledge of trade lifecycle or settlement processes.Experience with operational risk and controls.Exposure to process improvement or operational change initiatives.Excel and reporting skills.Financial services or banking experience preferred.
