We are hiring a CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer for a permanent position in a hospital in Tralee, Ireland.
Responsibilities Lead daily CT operations, ensuring effective delivery of the CT service and efficient utilisation of allocated resources.
Take responsibility for maintaining high standards within the service, including both technical quality and patient/customer care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to support efficient resource management and structured audit processes.
Develop, deliver, and oversee training programmes for qualified staff, trainees, and students as required.
Supervise and evaluate all training activities to ensure competency and compliance with professional standards.
Requirements A BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or an equivalent qualification is required.
CORU registration is essential.
A PgCert or Master's qualification related to CT is desirable.
A minimum of 6 years' full-time post-graduate clinical experience is required, including at least 2 years working specifically in CT.
Evidence of ongoing CPD relevant to the clinical specialist CT role is required.
Experience in audit is an advantage.
Strong IT skills are essential.
Experience with PACS administration is beneficial.
Experience in leading or supporting the delivery of CT radiology services is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Demonstrated capacity to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced clinical environment.
