Global Supply Chain Coordinator
This is a critical role that ensures the availability of strategic and operational information, reports, and metrics to stakeholders within the business. It involves driving and collating concise data, completing detailed analysis, and reporting on target achievement and identifying corrective actions in the supply chain area.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the global supply chain function by building tools and processes to collect data from various sources.
2. Ability to independently mine large datasets to answer specific questions, with curiosity to dig deeper and access additional documentation sources.
3. Ability to perform quantitative analysis and utilize data modeling techniques to generate insights and highlight opportunities.
4. Present data and associated business insights on supply chain performance to key stakeholders.
5. Develop competency through researching the latest data management capabilities and potential further education.
6. Translate inventory strategies into executable plans and communicate these to manufacturing sites.
7. Coordinate, facilitate, and drive improvement in site review meeting processes.
8. Collaborate with management teams on ID global inventory management strategy, aligning with the overall supply chain strategy; Works cross-functionally to drive inventory optimization and management of on-hand raw materials and components.
9. Material operations - Proactively identifies potential business issues and/or supply constraints, develops risk mitigation plans, and acts as a point of escalation for material supply issues within the business unit.
10. Ensures accurate data reporting, particularly to MRP system data, and asks appropriate questions to improve reporting processes and drive meaningful discussion.
11. Drives efficiency and standardization in supply chain business processes across sites.
Requirements:
* Primary degree in engineering, business, maths, or data science is a prerequisite, and a master's degree in one of these subjects is desirable.
* Knowledge of supply chain is a distinct advantage, including SAP knowledge.
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with complex data sets are necessary.
* Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx, Power BI (preferred) or other analytical tools.
* Ability to travel globally as required (with advance planning).
* A clear desire to build a career in a major global multinational organization.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team through college programs, part-time work or personal time activities.
