We are looking for an experienced and driven Section Manager to join a thriving construction team working on a mix of commercial developments and large-scale residential builds. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to top-tier projects while helping to shape a high-performing site team.
Your Responsibilities:

Site Operations: Manage day-to-day construction activities in your assigned area, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.

Team Oversight: Lead subcontractors, tradespeople, and site teams, ensuring all personnel are working in alignment with the programme.
*
Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all works meet building codes, health & safety standards, and company quality benchmarks.
*
Safety Management: Promote and enforce safety policies, complete risk assessments, and maintain a secure site environment.
*
Project Monitoring: Track work progress, flag potential issues, and communicate updates and solutions to senior leadership.
*
On-Site Problem Solving: Address challenges swiftly and effectively to keep the project moving forward smoothly.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a site management or section management role, ideally on commercial or high-density residential projects.
*
In-depth understanding of construction techniques, safety regulations, and BCAR compliance.
*
Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex project phases.
*
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to communicate clearly across teams.
*
Proficient in construction management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
*
Safe Pass and up-to-date safety certifications required.
