Job Overview
A Newly Qualified Accountant is sought to play a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial information.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
* Qualified Accountant with 1 year or more PQE
* Strong accounts preparation skills
* Strong Excel skills
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and all month-end accounts
* Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax compliance
* Reconciling bank accounts on a daily basis and managing cash flow effectively
* Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
* Processing payroll for all staff accurately and on time
* Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with all payroll-related regulations
* Handling payroll queries and resolving any discrepancies promptly
* Ensuring all payroll taxes and deductions are calculated correctly and remitted timely
* Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management and external stakeholders
