Strategic Sourcing Manager

An opportunity has opened for a seasoned procurement professional to shape and deliver long-term sourcing strategies within a highly regulated, dynamic environment. This role will play a key part in streamlining supplier engagement, enhancing cost efficiency, and contributing to enterprise-wide value creation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans aligned with organisational goals.
* Analyse supplier markets and conduct benchmarking to support sourcing decisions.
* Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and renewals with a focus on risk, compliance, and value for money.
* Use data insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains.
* Support category strategies across areas such as Operations, IT, HR, and Facilities.
* Drive supplier consolidation and lead renegotiations to optimise spend.
* Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive assessment and planning.
* Ensure all sourcing practices adhere to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
About You
* Background in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex categories (e.g., IT, Facilities, Infrastructure).
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
* Familiarity with procurement frameworks in highly regulated sectors (e.g. finance, pharma, utilities) is an advantage.
* Professional procurement qualifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, IIPMM) are desirable but not essential.
