Job Summary:
An Electrical Project Coordinator will work with an international Design & Build Consultancy to deliver high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical contracting and a relevant degree or trade background.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend project start-up meetings, conduct site visits, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.
2. Produce detailed enquiry schedules for scope of works and packages required from tender documentation, drawings, and specifications issued.
3. Evaluate returned quotations from suppliers and negotiate as necessary to align with project requirements.
4. Create comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for estimating programs using software such as Excel, Causeway, CCS Candy, and Kubus.
5. Contribute to the project risk register and participate in risk meetings alongside Estimators, Planning Engineers, Design Coordinators, and Client representatives.
6. Assist in tender price settlement meetings with the tender team and provide input on estimates.
7. Make adjustments to tenders as necessary based on client feedback.
8. Support project team personnel by responding to tender queries and providing additional information as required.
9. Collaborate with Contract Managers and Senior Management to review contract details and assess their alignment with the company's capabilities.
10. Liaise with Business Development personnel to facilitate successful tender submissions.
11. Tender for various HV/MV/LV large-scale projects.
