Job Overview:
As a skilled Toolmaker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality tooling and performing daily machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and verify SolidWorks drawings to fabricate machined parts or assemblies.
* Collaborate with customers to optimize design and manufacture of parts or modifications to existing parts.
* Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
* Operate CNC Milling machines, EDM Wiring Erosion Machines, surface grinders, lathes, and other conventional machine tools.
* Prepare parts for anodising and assist the designer in assembly to verify fit and function.
* Maintain daily machinery within the toolroom.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Toolmaker.
* Proficiency in 3D CAM software and CNC machinery.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and highly motivated.
* Level 6 Advanced Cert in Craft & Toolmaking.
