Full -Time Hotel Maintenance Operative With ExperienceKnowledge and experience of plumbing, electrics and decorating are highly important to this role, alongside being enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well under pressure. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on a high standard of work and has the ability to prioritise their workload efficiently. Hours of Work: 5 day week shifts between 8-5.30pm or depending on business levels, Saturday shifts would also be required.Have a basic knowledge of Plumbing/Carpentry/Wall Tiling/Decorating skillsPlumbing repairs - Toilets, showers, sinks kitchen equipment.Basic Electrics - Changing of spotlights and transformersLearn and become knowledgeable with all in house heating, plumbing, tv, electrical, sewage, water systems in the property and maintain relationships with contractors and senior management on maintenance of samePainting and basic decoration repairsJoinery repairs to furniture and doorsTo rectify any maintenance issues within the hotel on a daily basisTo liaise with outside contractors to ensure all maintenance issues are rectifiedTo ensure an efficient planned prevention maintenance system is in place for all key equipmentCarry out regular hotel inspections to identify maintenance requirement.To ensure all maintenance contracts are up to date and to ensure servicing of equipment takes place as per the agreed contractTo ensure guests safety by eliminating potential risks and hazardsDeep cleaning of outside yards and helping in the gardens when necessaryTo ensure all health, safety and fire regulations are adhered toThe CandidateAt least 3-5 years' experience at Maintenance Assistant level or working in building contracting and or electrical and / or plumbingTrade qualification/experience (eg electrical/plumbing) strongly advantageousHigh attention to detail and standard focusedAbility to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneouslyExcellent people skillsStrong communication and listening skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingApplication question(s):Are you living within easy commutable distance of Marlfield House?Do you have suffecient experience in the areas outlined int he advertisement?Do you speak fluent english?Work Location: In person
