Production Planner Navan - Insulation Your future job Job Description UNILIN Insulation is seeking a Production Planner to support production scheduling activities across our Ireland and UK sites.
The successful candidate will coordinate the execution of daily production schedules in partnership with manufacturing teams and customer demand requirements.
The Production Planner will develop and manage the Master Production Plan to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining effective inventory levels.
The role involves providing the plant with daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with plant capacity and sales forecasts.
#insulationUK Key Tasks and Duties Utilize production capacity taking into consideration sales forecasts, historical sales, and new business opportunities.
Analyse and identify risks associated with the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times.
Make delivery commitments on Make-to-Order (MTO) products by checking uncommitted materials and available capacity.
Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure product availability and service levels.
Coordinate with production personnel to execute the Production Plan on a weekly and monthly basis.
Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan and identify gaps while driving solutions.
Develop reporting of key metrics related to production performance.
Arrange inter-company transfers of goods between company sites.
Provide cover for other roles within the logistics and scheduling team where business needs require.
Deliver information and updates to the Customer Service Manager and internal customers when requested.
Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
Candidate Requirements Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
High attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
SAP knowledge is an advantage.
