MCS Group is delighted to announce multiple new opportunities with a valued client in the Fintech space in Dublin as they seek to add experienced senior software engineers to their team. They are looking for strong expertise in backend C#/.NET developement and those with a thirst to utilise AI such as Claude in their day to day work.

(Hybrid 3 days in office - Dublin)
The Role:
* Design, build and maintain robust, scalable backend services using C#/.NET
* Work with PostgreSQL to manage large, complex datasets efficiently
* Integrate with third-party systems and internal services via APIs, messaging queues and data pipelines
* Ensure code quality through test automation, CI pipelines, and peer reviews
* Develop and support systems deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Build and maintain infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes
* Contribute to event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
* Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver well-integrated solutions
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance in production environments
* Take part in architectural discussions and help shape technical direction
The Person:
* Strong experience with C#/.NET and PostgreSQL
* Proven work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* Excellent understanding of system integrations and distributed data
* Solid grasp of testing strategies, from unit to integration
* Experience messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
* Hands-on experience with Containterisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
* Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude is an advantage
* Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizenship)
