Job Title: Security and Facilities Manager
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment at our facilities. This includes ensuring all doors, gates, and windows are locked at the end of each day, operating security systems, and reporting any faults to the manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Secure premises by locking all doors, gates, and windows at the end of each day
* Operate fire alarm, intruder alarm, and building security systems
* Report any faults or issues to the manager
* Attend after-hour alarm callouts
* Apply grit to ensure pathways and entrance are free from snow and ice when necessary
* Empty litter bins on a daily basis
* Replenish toilet rolls, soaps, paper towels, and other essentials as needed
* Clean canteen, toilets, meetings, and communal areas to a high standard
* Dust, damp wipe, and wash furniture
* Sweep and damp mop resilient surfaces
* Assist with general building maintenance duties where possible
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in caretaking, security, and cleaning. They should also be able to work independently and have strong attention to detail.
