Quality Manager - South East Region
Location: South East Region
We are recruiting an experienced Quality Manager to lead and support quality, compliance, and governance initiatives across a network of nursing homes. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing quality and governance initiatives across the Nursing Home Group. This role works closely with the Persons in Charge (PICs) and the wider management team to ensure that all care services are compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with the groups standards and values. The Quality Manager supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care through structured audits, policy implementation, staff development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Reports to Chief Clinical Officer or delegated person
The Role
Provide guidance to management teams on HIQA compliance and best practice
Lead audits, develop improvement plans and ensure follow-up
Support policy development and consistent implementation
Mentor managers and staff, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Oversee safeguarding, risk management and incident reporting
Report on quality metrics and contribute to strategic planning
About You
Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration
Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality, or clinical governance (essential)
3-5+ years' experience in quality, governance, or compliance within healthcare
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care
Skilled in audits, risk management, training and mentoring
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Full driving licence and willingness to travel
