Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll clients, preparing and reviewing monthly payroll files, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of payroll clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll files.
* Assist with payroll-related queries from clients, providing clear and concise guidance.
* Contribute to the general management of multiple client payroll portfolios, providing ad-hoc support as required.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of client service.
* Execute client engagements and technical queries in an efficient and professional manner.
* Collaborate with partners and directors on firm-wide engagements.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in Irish payroll processing.
* A payroll qualification from IPASS or equivalent.
* A good working knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software (e.g., Sage, Thesaurus, BrightPay).
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
