Meta seeks a highly motivated attorney to serve as Associate General Counsel of the Special Investigations team, covering primarily the EMEA region. You will join a global team of attorneys responsible for leading privileged and complex internal investigations relating to anti-corruption, cyber security, anti-money laundering, securities, competition, international trade and fraud and other areas involving potential regulatory liability. The Associate General Counsel would be responsible for assessing factual findings in matters arising across the globe, including the EMEA region. You will also help Meta assess and identify potential legal and regulatory risk as well as identify programmatic areas in which the company can strengthen its systems of accounting, compliance and integrity controls. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to appropriately scope, investigate and remediate matters, mitigating risk for the company. You will have extensive investigative skills, ability to assess different types of risk, and bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a dynamic organization.
