About your role: We are seeking a Quantitative Trading Software Developer responsible for building, designing, operating, and improving software supporting our trading strategies. The role involves all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
* Maintain existing software systems and applications.
* Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for trading strategies and operations.
* Integrate software components and third-party programs ensuring quality and availability.
* Manage and optimize application performance.
* Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts, Data Scientists, Traders, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
* Assist in developing trading strategies through statistical and econometric models.
* Implement security protocols to ensure system reliability.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
* Work with IT teams to improve software architecture and scalability.
* Understand technology and trading requirements for Front Office and deliver software solutions.
* Support development of software-driven solutions aligning with the business technology roadmap.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience with cloud platforms supporting scalable development, such as DataBricks and Azure.
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics; postgraduate preferred.
* Experience in Energy, Trading, or Finance software development is advantageous.
* Ability to manage multiple projects.
* Passion for research, statistics, data analysis, and designing solutions.
* Interest in energy markets, especially I-SEM, and enthusiasm for quantitative trading.
* Experience in software development roles.
* Proficiency with DataBricks and cloud infrastructure like Azure.
