Job Title: Health and Safety Expert
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the implementation and enforcement of health and safety policies on construction project sites in Dublin. This involves ensuring that all relevant methodologies are in place, conducting regular site inspections, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a recognized EHS qualification, 2+ years' experience in construction safety, and excellent organisational skills. They should also possess strong communication and leadership qualities, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Implement and enforce health and safety policies on construction project sites
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
* Communicate with site management to close out issues and promote a positive health and safety culture
* Deliver toolbox talks and provide advice to colleagues and third parties
* Compile and update site emergency plans and ensure proper reporting of accidents and incidents
* Relevant recognised EHS qualification
* 2+ years' experience in construction safety
* Excellent organisational skills, including report writing and records maintenance
* Excellent interpersonal and report writing skills
* Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
* Ability to work effectively in a team and flexible to travel to sites based in Dublin
